Semester One (Galway):
Students must choose modules to the value of 60 credits from the following:
* International Criminal Law (30 credits)
* International Humanitarian Law (30 credits)
* Minority Rights and Self-determination (30 credits)
* Law of the European Convention on Human Rights (30 Credits)
* Conflict and Post Conflict Case Studies (30 Credits)
* Gender and Human Rights (15 credits)
* Human Rights and States of Emergency (15 credits)
* Refugees and Asylum Seekers (15 credits)
Dissertation (completed during the summer) at either institution (60 credits).
Semester Two (Belfast):
Students are required to take the compulsory module in Human Rights Law (30 credits) and choose one of the following:
* Conflict Regulation (30 credits)
* Equality Law (30 credits).
Cross Border LLM/MSSc in Human Rights and Criminal Justice
Semester One (Galway):
Students must choose modules to the value of 60 credits from the following:
* International Criminal Law (30 credits)
* International Humanitarian Law (30 credits)

 Conditions d’admission |  For the LLM in Human Rights Law applicants must normally have a good second class law degree. For the LLM/MSSc. in Human Rights and Criminal Justice applicants must normally have a good second class degree in a relevant social science (e.g. law, sociology, psychology, etc.). Previous experience in a relevant legal or criminal justice setting may be taken into account. |  |
