 Información adicional |  Objectives: The Programme aims at making the pupils aware of basic concepts of Human Rights and Peace. The main themes of the exercises of experiential learning are for the children to learn to co-operate, to develop conscience of their interdependence, to have an insight of the causes that lead to conflicts and to search for ways of resolving conflicts creatively. The educational material used has been taken from relevant publications of the UN, UNESCO, UNICEF and other international organizations. The implementation of the intervention (from the preparation of the educational material to its application) is assigned to the Interdisciplinary Youth Team of the UNESCO Chair, coming from various Schools of the Aristotle University.
The programme is implemented by the Interdisciplinary Youth Team of the UNESCO Chair.
All the members of the Interdisciplinary Youth Team of the UNESCO Chair carry out these educational interventions on a voluntary basis. |  |

 Descripción de la evaluación |  The Programme has not been directly evaluated, however, the Chair considers the following as an indirect, positive evaluation:
(a) The enthusiastic support of the activities by the Interdisciplinary Youth Team of the Chair;
(b) The collaboration with the Institute of Education for Peace;
(c) Good networking within the academic community, and with important and influential to society at large institutions (such as the Public School Systems). |  |
