This seminar will explore shared and distinctive aspects of teaching human rights and developing English language skills for secondary school students. The rationale behind the seminar is that Human Rights, as a school subject, can provide a framework for the students' understanding of the individual's fundamental rights and freedoms both as national and European citizens. It also enhances their awareness and knowledge of democratic values and of rights in action. | |

Participants will be teachers and educators in human rights education, teachers of English, representatives of education authorities, representatives of NGOs that have an educational goal. | |
