An interdisciplinary interfaculty course on education for human rights and peace.
Objectives: a) To provide students with basic knowledge on human rights, democracy, peace and world problems; b) To provide students with basic knowledge regarding International Instruments, IGOs and NGOs and their role in the above mentioned issues; c) To sensitize future scientists and decision-makers on issues regarding human rights and their violation and on contemporary world problems; d) To emphasize the fact that the above mentioned issues can be approached and faced only in an interdisciplinary manner.
Frequency: both academic semesters, every academic year since 1986. | |
