This scholarship, instituted in 1997, covers tuition fees for the academic year as well as a modest allowance to enable the recipient to undertake a one-month internship with a human rights organization.
This scholarship is awarded annually to a student in the LLM in International Human Rights Law at the University of Essex. The aim of the scholarship is to enable those who might otherwise not be able to study the discipline of human rights.
