The programme is funded by the Japanese Government.
Objectives: For the training programme at the time of promotion to the rank of police sergeant, it is aimed at having them obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to become the important personnel at police stations. Also, for the training programme at the time of promotion to the rank of assistant police inspector, it is aimed at having them acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to serve as group chiefs at police stations.
The programme is implemented by the regional police schools located in 7 regions nationwide.
