 Content |  This program aims to introduce the European Convention against Torture and assure full implementation of international standards related to protection against torture and inhuman and degrading treatment and punishment. The program further works to intensify collaboration with the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, according to the Convention. Finally, the program continually organizes education for employees of competent bodies that conducted legally determined measures related to persons deprived of freedom, in respect of legally determined procedure and international standards for conduct in relation to persons deprived of freedom. |  |
