 Informations supplémentaires |  The Republic of Macedonia ratified the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and Protocols 1, 4, 6, 7, and 11 on 27 February 1997, in accordance with Article 118 of the Constitution stating that "international agreements ratified according to the Constitution are part of the internal legal order and can not be changed by the law and other acts." At the same time, experts prepared a report on the compatibility of Macedonian legislation with the Convention. |  |
