Contenido

Topics on various types of human rights are included in the legal apprenticeship, including the International Covenants on Human Rights, children's rights, women's rights (topics on gender rights in domestic relations, etc.), workers rights, rights of suspects and the accused in criminal procedures, human rights of the juvenile in procedures on juvenile cases, information disclosure and the protection of personal information.

Lecture given by the professors and lawyers, providing leaflets and explanations on the International covenants on Human Rights.

For the collective training program: Professors of the Legal Training and Research Institute and instructors invited from other institutions. For the field training: judges, prosecutors, local lawyers, and instructors invited from other institutions.


Información adicional

The objective is to provide the practical capability and knowledge to enter the legal profession with an understanding of basic human rights protections. The programme is implemented by the Legal Training and Research Institute (collective training programme) and the courts, Public Prosecutors' Offices and Bar Associations nationwide (field training). Funded by the Japanese Government.
