Metodología empleada

The competition includes seminars with leaders of NGOs, governmental agencies and international law organizations, visits to international organizations, and networking opportunities with fellow students, diplomats and human rights practitioners.

Coste de la enseñanza

Team registration fees are $400 for teams from US/Canada and $200 for all other teams from the Americas. Observers pay $100 to attend and participate in all the events of the competition. Teams and observers that register and pay online receive a $25 discount.

Coste de alojamiento y manutencion

Participants can stay at the American University dormitories during the competition for a daily cost substantially less than that of local hotels. To guarantee housing at the dormitories, participants must submit the housing form and fee before 1 April 2004.

Scholarship:
* The Center cannot provide funding for travel or housing expenses.
* Teams from some countries can receive funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Participants can contact the American Embassy in their own country to find out about various funding opportunities.
* Other sources including: local businesses, foundations, bar associations, and the Inter-American Development Bank. Participants can contact the Center if they want documentation and promotional materials about the competition to assist them in obtaining funding.
* Many universities support their students' participation in this competition and pay for their travel and accommodations.
