The THIMUN Foundation organizes the largest Model United Nations Conference for secondary school students worldwide, with approx. 3.800 participants each year in January in The Hague and this year for the first time in Singapore with approx. 500 participants.
Activities: Since the Conference is a simulation of the United Nations with a General Assembly and all the Commissions of the UN, the THIMUN has a Human Rights Commission (Sub 1 and Sub 2) which debates some of the issues of the UN. The size of this commission is approx. 350 students representing all the countries and NGO’s represented in the UN. |
