 Content |  The course gives a thorough introduction to basic principles of human rights and their content and application. The course subjects will be: the United Nations human rights system; regional human rights conventions and systems; particular rights for groups, such as refugees, children, and minorities; the validity of human rights in different cultures; human rights and ethics; human rights and development; and human rights in practice. |  |
