This one-week intensive course is meant to give a systematic picture of the norms on non-discrimination and minority rights within the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the European Union and the OSCE contexts. | |

The course consists of lectures, case studies and an optional written exam. | |
Degree, diploma or
certificate given |
Those who successfully complete the course, including the written exam, will receive a Diploma equivalent to 5 Finnish credits or 7.5 ECTS credits. With no written exam, the participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance equivalent
to 1 Finnish credit or 1.5 ECTS credits. | |

The Institute will be able to finance the participation of a limited number of participants from, inter alia, CIS countries, the Baltic countries, from Africa, Latin America, and from Western Russia.
