 Content |  These regular lectures provide information about human and citizen rights in the Polish Constitutional system, with regard to international conventions - such as the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the European Convention on Human Rights, etc. General background information and the historical development of the idea of human rights protection are also included. The idea of dignity as the foundation of human rights, equality, and minority rights are addressed. Finally, the mechanisms protecting human rights in Poland, including the Polish Ombudsman and the right to claims in the Constitutional Tribunal, are discussed. |  |
