After the preparation of document CERD/SP/66, the Secretary-General received a note verbale from the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations Office at Geneva, dated 7 January 2004, informing him that the Government of Nepal had decided to withdraw the nomination of Mrs. Durga Sob.
